Centennial of Fengwudong and Qingshanli Battles

표지

The Battle of Fengwudong was a battle in which Korea's independence army gained a major triumph over Japan's regular army strategically in a poor environment; the Battle of Qingshanli is remembered as the most brilliant battle in the history of Korea's armed independence movement. Behind these heroic triumphs of the independence army are such leaders as Hong Beom-do, Choi Jin-dong, and Kim Jwa-jin and the grass roots groups who devoted themselves to the national independence. However, the remains of General Hong Beom-do, who had to leave for Kazakhstan due to Stalin's deportation policy, still lie intact in foreign soil.
