On Wednesday, April 1, the Northeast Asian History Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Samcheok Tourism & Culture Foundation to promote exchanges of educational and exhibition content related to history and Dokdo, as well as cooperation in history education.

Through this agreement, the two organizations agreed to pursue cooperation in various areas in order to expand content exchanges and establish a foundation for collaboration in history education. They also plan to develop history content that combines regional identity and professional expertise by linking the Dokdo Experience Hall of the Northeast Asian History Foundation with the Isabu Dokdo Memorial Hall operated by the Samcheok Tourism & Culture Foundation, while also expanding citizen participation programs.

This agreement marked a meaningful occasion to discuss the public value of history and Dokdo education and the mutual exchange and joint utilization of effective educational and exhibition content based on institutional cooperation. The two organizations are expected to continue broadening the scope of history education shared with local communities and citizens through ongoing cooperation.
