The Northeast Asian History Foundation held an “Emergency Seminar by Experts on the Analysis of Japanese High School Textbooks Approved in 2026” in the foundation’s main conference room on Wednesday, March 25.

At this expert seminar, hosted by the Foundation’s Textbook Research Center, participants analyzed descriptions related to Dokdo in Japanese high school textbooks approved in 2026, as well as descriptions concerning forced mobilization and the Japanese military “comfort women.”

Presentations were given by Foundation research fellows Kim Na-young, Park Han-min, and Lee A-ri. The discussion session was joined by Foundation research fellows Lee Kyung-mi, Ahn Jae-ik, and Seok Ju-hee, along with Professor Cho Eun-jin of Korea National University of Education.
